Created especially for babies, toddlers, young children, and their grown-ups, The Nutcracker (in a Nutshell) returns to Calgary audiences with our opening weekend Nov. 30 & Dec 1 at Evergreen Community Spaces. This whirlwind retelling of the classic Christmas ballet and our “fuss-friendly” atmosphere is a favorite for families introducing their young children to the performing arts with a holiday twist. It’s highly interactive and fun for all.
New this year, our production entering its 8th year, gets a fresh new look with an amazing team of artists. Director Tara Blue and performers Alexa Elser and Seigred Cortez.
The Nutcracker (in a Nutshell) plays in three locations:
- Nov. 30 @ 10:30 am – Evergreen Community Spaces (presented by Bach Tots) (presented by Bach Tots)
- Dec. 1 @ 2:30 pm – Evergreen Community Spaces (presented by Bach Tots)
- Dec. 6-8 @ 10:30 am & 12:30 pm – BMO Theatre, Shane Homes YMCA at Rocky Ridge (presented by the YMCA)
- Dec. 13-15 @ 10:30 am & 12:30 pm – Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton (presented by the YMCA)
Tickets are $15 for general admission, children 18 months and under are free
