Mini-Conference Grant for Movement Arts

Overview

The Alberta Dance Alliance (ADA) is pleased to announce the relaunch of the ADA Mini-Conference Grant, aimed at supporting the vibrant dance community across Alberta. This grant, with an allocation of up to $4000 per individual or organization, is designed to help host mini-conferences which align with the mandate and goals of Alberta Dance Alliance. With no fixed deadlines, applications for this grant are accepted throughout the year; however, applicants are encouraged to submit their proposals at least three months before their proposed conference date. The Fund will provide financial support based on a call for proposals opening once a year. Priority is given to innovations in movement arts, equity-seeking communities, and traditional dance arts. Jurors from the Alberta arts community evaluate the program. We invite dancers, choreographers, educators, and organizations from all corners of Alberta’s dance community to explore the ADA Mini-Conference Grant’s possibilities. Together, let’s continue to cultivate and elevate the art of dance across our province.
