Welcome to the Alberta Dance Alliance
Alberta Dance Alliance (ADA) is a Provincial Arts Service Organization (PASO) for dance in the province of Alberta, Canada.
Serving
We serve our members and the public, by providing Programs and Resources that reflect the core needs of our dynamic dance sectors. We offer a subscription or annual membership for individuals and organizations, for those directly or indirectly involved with dance. Professional, Recreational, and Educational dance, ADA balances programming and resources to assist and support the individuals and organizations that comprise these three interlinked sectors. If you have a service need and cannot find it mentioned on our site, please help us by contacting our office so we can address it or escalate it, as required.
We are sustained through grant programs from Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Edmonton Arts Council and the City of Edmonton.
Below, ADA Members have added their events to the DanceLink Calendar…

OUR COMMITMENT TO ANTI–RACISM
The Alberta Dance Alliance is committed as an anti-racist organization by: Standing in solidarity with Black people, Indigenous people and communities of colour, listening to what is needed and taking action to address injustice; continuing to question our practices and disrupting patterns that reinforce inequities; advocating for change in arts policies and arts funding; and holding ourselves to a standard that does not accept that this work is ever done. We join our national organization, the Canadian Dance Assembly, in our commitment to meaningful change.
Please listen, learn, and support where you can. We vow to do the same. We commit to growing our own understanding along with you.
The Alberta Dance Alliance stands with all dance artists, cultural communities and Canadians in the fight against racism. Please contact us if you require resources on anti-racism in dance or have particular concerns with respect to experiences of racism in your own dance practice.
