Who are we?
For more than 35 years, L'Association La Girandole has been a unique school of francophone dance in Alberta. Ideally placed in la Cité francophone in Edmonton, La Girandole has the mission of promoting French-Canadian culture through the medium of dance. Through its semi-professional dance troupe, Zéphyr, the dance school hopes to share its cultural roots not only in the francophone community in Edmonton but also the anglophone community of the city and throughout the province.
As well as its community involvement, La Girandole favourises artistic exploration for the dancer and the ensemble in a an open and welcoming francophone environment.
Parallel to the exceptional traditional dance classes offered, the dance school offers a wide variety of classes for a wide variety of ages (we have classes for toddlers, children, teens, adults and seniors). Our instructors are talented, qualified, dynamic professionals and they make up the core strength of our school.
