This year marks the 8th edition of the Compagnie Marie Chouinard’s international workshop for professional and pre-professional dancers.
For five days, participants will have a chance to immerse themselves
in the artistic universe of Marie Chouinard, to learn the choreographic systems and to assimilate her meticulous, instinctual language.
The days will begin with meditation classes and
body awareness through breath and sound each morning.
The rhythmics and physicality specific to the choreographer’s creations, work on the breath, the spine, on presence and connections, will be studied in depth and allow participants to enrich their technique and develop their work as performers.
Instruction will be provided by four exceptional dancers with the COMPAGNIE: Valeria Galluccio, Scott McCabe, Sacha Ouellette-Deguire and Carol Prieur,
