An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, repeating until December 8, 2020
Please see below for more information about these sessions from instructor Isabelle Rousseau.
I am excited to announce the Fall Session for Thinking Body online classes.
As some of you know, I’ve been developing a more personal approach to the practice of the Syntonics created by Judith Koltaï, whose own teaching stems from Thérèse Bertherat, Françoise Mézières, Charlotte Selver and Elsa Gindler.
In this class, you will be introduced to getting feedback from your own body and letting itself rebalance through the use of “test positions” sustained in slow, anatomically optimal positions. This accessible practice is self-regulating on the nervous system and also readily available to all. We will also spend time studying the minutiae of posture and movement coordination, and get familiar with ways to expand range of motion with sensory input as we become more intimate with our skeleton and its properties.
The class is injury-free and can be practiced by all as a “prequel” to any health and training protocol, no matter where you are on your journey to a deeper relationship to your whole self. I look forward to working with you in class.
Classes will run from November 3rd to December 8th 2020. Classes are twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 pm to 6 pm MT via Zoom.
Registration fees are $110 for 12 classes (recorded classes available if needed).
