Roots to Branches

Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre Inc. and Action Dignity’s B.L.A.C.K (Becoming Leaders Acquiring Critical Knowledge) youth program present Roots to Branches, an animation project for African, Caribbean and Black youths (ages 12 – 22.) We’re looking for 10 unique stories of lived experiences from youth in Calgary. We will then adapt these stories into an animated video with creative input from the youth involved. Applications open on May 3rd, and will close on June 7th 2021.
