CANCELLED – Ballet Edmonton: Chapter THREE, now with ART & SOLE

Our Saturday, May 2 performance of Chapter THREE now contains our Art & Sole fundraiser. Previously a stand-alone event, we have rolled Art & Sole into our final show of the season. Come Saturday night before the show for a silent auction, high value raffle and stick around for a reception and other exciting tidbits!
Gioconda Barbuto worked with Ballet Edmonton in May 2019 and we are thrilled to welcome her back again. She is an internationally recognized Italian-Canadian dancer and choreographer with over 50 works to her credit and has created work for internationally acclaimed dance companies including Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Ballet BC, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, Alberta Ballet and Ballet Kelowna, to name a few.
Ever grateful he is our leader, we close the season with a new piece by our own Artistic Director, Wen Wei Wang. Wen Wei is such an important voice in Canadian contemporary ballet right now, and we are thrilled to present a new work by him to close our 2019/2020 season.
