The Edmonton Philharmonic Orchestra is a volunteer orchestra and we are having a concert specifically for people living with dementia (Alzheimers and other types) and their families.  We are hoping to provide a fun and friendly evening of live music.  We are looking for volunteer ballroom dancers of any level to join the Edmonton Philharmonic Orchestra for a one hour concert.

We will be playing the Blue Tango, the Blue Danube Waltz, the Sleeping Beauty Waltz and other favourites (song list not yet finalized). Dancers of any level are more than welcome to join us in an evening of happy memories and interaction.  We are hoping members of the audience will also get up to dance if they wish.  We are not able to offer payment or an honorarium.  Please contact me if you would be interested as I can provide a parking pass and the concert set list once it is decided by our conductor.

This concert will be held in the auditorium of the Edmonton General Hospital on Jasper ave and 111 St.

Date: Monday March 16th from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.

Rehearsal: You would be welcome to join us in rehearsal at 7:15 pm on Monday March 2 & 9 at the Ukrainian Hall on 97 St and 111 Ave if you would be interested.  Please email me for details and if you have any questions.

Everyone of any level is welcome.

Thank you kindly

Cathy Campbell
