Stone-Olafson, a research-based consulting firm, has conducted a study about the experience economy in Alberta, including sports, recreation, arts and culture, travel and hospitality, festivals and events. The first wave of their research has been released, reporting on the effects of COVID on Alberta audiences. There are currently three reports available: Edmonton Report, Calgary Report, and Alberta Report.

The Edmonton Arts Council and a consortium of organizations supported this research, ensuring free access to research outcomes, workshops and sharing events for the community.

Outcomes from this research are being given to any organization in the experience economy free of charge – sign up at www.stone-olafson.com/thenewexperienceeconomy.
