And on that note, we would like to announce the name change from the Encore! Dance Hall of Fame to the Dance Collection Danse Hall of Fame (DCD Hall of Fame).
The name reflects the alignment of the initiatives of Dance Collection Danse with the commitment to honour Canadian dance achievement with an annual celebration and virtual museum. The online Hall of Fame portal is growing with an impressive collection of in-depth interviews with the inductees and videos of the induction ceremony. Our goal is to produce an educational tribute that can be accessed by educators and dance lovers. With two years under our belt, we are delighted to see this become a reality!
