DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by Foolish Operations’ Isabelle Rousseau (Edmonton) and Miriam Colvin (Smithers).\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\nThu\, April 15\, 2021 \n7:30 PM – 8:30 PM MDT \n\n\nIn this workshop\, participants will be invited to discover fun dance games to integrate within early childhood preschool curriculum (3-5 yrs). We will focus on how to use children’s books into dance games. We will invite everyone to participate directly to learn in an active way. Please come prepared with a little space to move. \nIsabelle is a dance artist teaching dance and movement to children\, teens and adults. Her background is rooted in theatre performance and somatics. She is excited to be part of the Foolish Operations team! \nMiriam Colvin lives in the rural town of Smithers\, BC. DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by Foolish Operations’ Isabelle Rousseau (Edmonton) and Miriam Colvin (Smithers). \nAbout this Event\nMon\, April 12\, 2021 \n7:30 PM – 8:30 PM MDT \n*This event is in French. An English event is scheduled for April 15. \n\n\nLes participants de cet ateliers découvriront des jeux de danse amusants à intégrer dans leur curriculum de programme préscolaire (3-5 ans). Les jeux seront spécialement adaptés pour tous ceux qui doivent enseigner dans de petits espaces. Nous allons aussi explorer le potentiel de certains accessoires pour encourager la l’expansion de potentiel du mouvement expressif chez l’enfant. L’atelier vous invitera à bouger pour mieux intégrer les concepts. L’atelier sera sur zoom. Un certificat de développement professionnel sera offert aux éducatrices/éducateurs à la petite enfance ou quiconque en a besoin. \nIsabelle est une artiste de la danse qui enseigne la danse et le mouvement aux enfants\, adolescents et adultes. Son parcours est enraciné dans la performance théâtrale et la somatique. Elle est ravie de faire partie de l’équipe de Foolish Operations! \nSarah Gallos est une mère\, une interprète et enseignante de danse qui travaille sur les terres non cédées et ancestrales des peuples Salish de la Côte Ouest.
