SUMMARY:DANCE EVOLUTION - LETHBRIDGE
DESCRIPTION:Fabulous Feet Productions are thrilled to be returning to the newly renovated Yates Memorial Center in Lethbridge\, Alberta for one of our largest events. \nThe festival is open to all dancers\, beginner through advanced\, 3 years of age to adult. It gives solo performers and groups the opportunity to compete whatever their style or dance\, age\, or level. With well-known adjudicators and a positive competitive environment\, this event is highly valuable to both recreational and competitive studios. \nThe energy and enthusiasm at Dance Evolution is contagious\, and we are looking forward to sharing that environment with both returning and new studios this season. \n  \nOther Dance Evolution Locations \nThis year\, we will also be hosting competitive Dance Evolution festivals in Fort Saskatchewan\, Bearspaw and Lethbridge. If you’d like to find out more about this dance festival across all the locations\, please find the information page here. \n  \nCompetition Information \nDancers are placed in categories based on their age\, their discipline\, and the number of years’ training they have. We provide an Elevated level for dancers training more than 8 hours per week. \nAdjudications are held every 45 minutes\, allowing our professional judges to positively critique the dancers. \n  \nAwards and Prizes \n“EACH” dancer is presented with a medal depending on the mark that they receive in EVERY category.\n\nAwards for recognition are presented at EACH adjudication.\n\nSoloists receive crystal trophies for OUTSTANDING and MOST PROMISING as well as a scholarship for the OUTSTANDING recipient.\n\nIn ALL duo/trio and groups categories OUTSTANDING and MOST PROMISING medals are presented to ALL dancers.\n\nOUTSTANDING CHOREOGRAPHY is also presented in ALL group categories.\n  \nQualifying for Challenges and Finals \nThe top 5 marks in group categories for each level will also qualify for our Xtreme Dance Challenge dance off\, which is held at the end of each event and gives groups the opportunity to compete for trophies and scholarships. \nDance Evolution will be a positive and professional experience for not only your dancers\, but for you as studio owners\, teachers and choreographers. \n\nEVENT DETAILS\n\n\n Date: May 8\, 2025 – May 11\, 2025\n Venue: Yates Memorial Theatre \n Address: 1002 4 Avenue South
