SUMMARY:DANCE INVASION IS INVADING REGINA
DESCRIPTION:Fabulous Feet Productions is excited to be returning to the University of Regina Theatre to host Dance Invasion 2025 – Regina’s best dance festival! \nDancers from Alberta\, Saskatchewan and Manitoba have participated in this event in the past\, and we look forward to welcoming new studios to our 2025 Dance Invasion. \n\nOther Dance Invasion Locations \nThis year\, we will also be hosting competitive Dance Invasion festivals in Medicine Hat\, Bearspaw and Regina. If you’d like to find out more about this dance competition across all the locations\, please find the information page here. \n  \nCompetition Information \nDance Invasion is festival based event\, that is valuable to both recreational and competitive studios. \nAll dancers are placed in categories based on age\, discipline and years of training\, an elevated level is calculated for all dancers training 8 hours or more a week. \n  \nAwards and Prizes \n“EACH” dancer is presented with a medal depending on the mark that they receive in “ALL” categories.\n\nIn addition\, awards of recognition will be presented.\n\nCrystal trophies are awarded in “EVERY” solo category for OUTSTANDING and MOST PROMISING. As well\, OUTSTANDING recipients also receive a scholarship.\n\nExtra medals are also presented for OUTSTANDING and MOST PROMISING in “EVERY” duo/trio and group categories.\n\nOUTSTANDING CHOREOGRAPHY is presented in “EVERY” group category.\nThe adjudications are held every 45 minutes\, allowing our professional judges to positively critique the dancers. \n  \nQualifying for Challenges and Finals \nThe top 5 marks in group categories in each level\, also qualify for our Xtreme Dance Challenge dance off\, which is held at the end of each event for trophies and scholarships. \n  \nEVENT DETAILS\n\n\n Date: May 1\, 2025 – May 4\, 2025\n Venue: Riddell Centre – University of Regina \n Address: 3737 Wascana Parkway
