This weekly class is appropriate for all ages and skill levels and will guide participants as they develop their own personal style. If you’re not up for dancing\, that’s cool\, it’s still worth dropping in to listen to Creeasian’s killer beats and to learn about the historical and cultural significance of this genre of dance.\n\nArtist Bio\nCreeasian – Dancer\, DJ\, Beatmaker\, is a founding member of the Sampler Café collective\, Cypher Wild YEG and a long-time practitioner of hip-hop culture as a whole. He has made a living through DJ’ing\, dancing\, youth educating\, and has in recent years turned his focus to the art of beat making and music production education. Through providing a consistent blend of his indigenous roots and his hip-hop influenced background\, Creeasian continues to break boundaries while highlighting the similarities between his traditional culture and his modern influences. Previously on tour with Juno Award winning A Tribe Called Red until COVID-19 hit.

DESCRIPTION:Starting November 20 through December 18\, join Isabelle Rousseau for Proprioceptive Practice online classes once a week\, Fridays 11 am -12 pm MT. \nPrecursor to Authentic Movement​​ and Thinking Body (aka Syntonics)\, this practice reinforces the discovery/rediscovery of your sensory kinaesthetic feelings as you pay attention to sensations and put them into action in this improvisational self-guided practice.
