feats – Festival of Dance is looking for passionate arts volunteers to assist with the 2012 Festival. Volunteers help us get our festival on its feets. Give a little of your time and receive a FREE ticket to the Mainstage performance of your choice.  

 

Volunteer positions available for feats – Festival of Dance are:

 

• Ushering duties

• Handing out show and festival programs

• Greeting audience at the doors prior to the shows

 

• Signing and checking in Summer Performance Intensive students as well as the professional program members

• On-site feats representative to help registered workshop participants during the scheduled programs

 

• Ticket sales

• Handling cash

• On-site representative to answer questions/concerns regarding all festival shows and/or programs
 

• Helping with crowd control 

• Handing out brochures and other festival information 

• Assisting artists at site specific performances 

 

About the Festival 

feats– Festival of Dance is a multi-disciplinary dance festival in Edmonton, Alberta. The festival is designed to celebrate and present superb Canadian talent with a special focus on the Alberta dance community. We bring forward various perspectives of dance, by presenting everything from traditional folk and contemporary works to the most unusual and edgy movement performances. During the festival we host featured events and programs of education and awareness, as well as open public workshops and professional performances.
